Kayla and Austin’s relationship started with a wedding.
You see, they’ve already been married once before.
To each other.
In college.
Through their fraternity and sorority.
Now I’ve never been a part of any kind of Greek Life, so I don’t really understand the nature of this joke wedding, but I do know that it was a pretty accurate foreshadowing of what was to come for these two.
The pair were married for the second time (this time for real) on December 17th at Camp Colton. The chapel stood in a clearing of giant Douglas Firs, blanketed in a thick layer of fog that lasted the whole day. It may not have snowed like Kayla had hoped, but the fog was almost as good. It felt like a winter wonderland.
Before heading to Camp Colton, Kayla and Austin got ready at the Prairie House Inn; a gorgeous little bed and breakfast in Molalla. It was a wonderful start to a perfect day.
